cmsWorks for the community portal "Munich in Second Life". Objectives were: Safe delegation of task to a team of editors, access and maintanance without special software to be installed, easy administration with virtually no training, event calendar, integration of free tools (Blogger, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Analytics, Flickr, YouTube), preparation for additional languages.

Relaunch of the youth portal with cmsWorks, the CMS by itechWorks. Objectives were: Unique web design, simple usage, super fast website and synchronous data exchange with content partners. BRAVOSport.de gets most of its sports news from SPOX.com. In a fully automated manner content shows up on BRAVOSport.de as soon as it released on SPOX.com., without compromising the content-related choice and flexibility of the editorial team of BRAVOsport.de.

Development of an internet sports portal with many web 2.0 features, picture and video shows and unseen integration of user generated content. SPOX.com is a fresh approach to sport portals. Funded by pay TV station Premiere SPOX.com embraces the opportunities of web 2.0 combined with a professional editorial team.

Football unites all 26.000 clubs on one server

Development of the internet portal www.fussball.de having the complete responsibility. The fussball.de portal is the largest football/soccer sports data service worldwide and covers over 26.000 German clubs and their 3.5 million players from the Deutscher Fußball Bund (DFB). itechWorks worked out the complete specification, planned the technical infrastructure, data interfaces, application servers and caching. The portal was integrated in a CoreMedia CAP content and navigation framework.

The Internet site of Deutsches Sportfernsehen (DSF) has been overhauled and redesigned. Backward compatibility of data structures is ensured and workflows of editorial staff were re-implemented.
itechWorks' roles were project management and programming of the new layout including the external shop system of Deutsches Sportfernsehen.
